Hashgochoh Protis XVI - השגחה פרטית

The following story happened last week, in the run-up to ShabbatUK:

The Travelling Chassidim were invited by the Jewish Community in Glasgow for ShabbatUK.  We were going to fly out to Scotland on Friday morning and all the arrangements were under control.

Or so I thought…

It was Leyl Shishi just before midnight and one of the Travelling Chassidim was ticking off his packing list when it hit him: passports!
Now this particular Travelling Chossid – knowing that he will be away for Shabbos – gave away his flat to Mechutanim who - preparing for one of their children's wedding - wanted to put up a young couple over the weekend.  The problem was: how do you walk into the flat past midnight when these people just arrived after a long flight and will surely be deep asleep?  He called the wedding organiser who was his contact and explained the situation and was advised to go near the flat and see if the lights were still on.  As he was approaching the flat the wedding organiser calls asking him where he is as his new tenants just called that they couldn’t sleep in the cold flat, due to the fact that they couldn’t figure out how to regulate the temperature on the boiler's thermostatic controller.  Hearing this the ‘landlord’ hurried to the flat and when the door opened the guest was shocked how fast he arrived…
After setting the boiler to the guest’s satisfaction he quickly retrieved the passports and everyone was happy!

* (even domestic flights require some form of ID and as we were taking our families with us, we needed their passports).
