His supermarket “Superette” is on the Lamorinièrestraat 199, 2018 Antwerpen.

Behind his shop, he runs M. S. Distribution (office@msdistribution.be: 00 32 486 88 23 31, Fax: +32.3.2813205), whose products (e.g. Tivall, Yeast and Potatoes for Chips) you can also find in London’s Kosher supermarkets.

He will be happy to prepare any other food items and palletise it, so that you may only need to arrange one delivery for any Kosher food you may need for camp.

As he does this for other camps and hotels all over Europe, perhaps he’ll be able to advise / help you with regards to the Kosher meat anywhere in Europe.

Whilst in Antwerpen, perhaps you’ll want to Daven Shacharis etc., so the best place for you – as a Yekke – is to visit the Eisenman Shul, located on the Oostenstraat No. 29, situated in between the two beautiful synagogues of the Machsike Hadass and Shomre Hadass respectively…

Perhaps you’d want to visit the newly-installed Chief Rabbi of Belgium, Rabbi Pinchas Leybush Padwa, whose brother Akiva works for the KLBD.  His shul is on the street where I grew up: Van Den Nestlei, a stone’s throw from the Belgiëlei, where there’s a monument to commemorate the Jewish victims of the Nazi atrocities who were deported from Antwerpen.

The Minyonim listing, which will help you catch the best Minyan at the right time, is available from the publisher in hard-copy: Rabbi Scheinberger, who is on 0032476508398.

Make sure to attend Davening at the Van Den Nestlei Synagogue, where the great uncle of my son in law, Chazzan Binjomin Muller is officiating.

There are at least three other Mizrachi-type Shuls in Antwerp, but I’m sure you’ll feel welcome in whichever Shteeble you walk into!

As a city with high-rise blocks of flats, parking spaces are restricted all over Antwerpen, so give yourself a bit more time to find a parking space and leave your car there until you’ve finished shopping, Davening etc. – remember to allow yourself enough time to retrace your way to your vehicle…
